FREE FOOD DELIVERY
CLOCKHOUSE AND NEW CHARLTON - FREE COMMUNITY MEAL DELIVERY OUTREACH SERVICE
The Clockhouse and New Charlton Community Centres will be part of a local free food distribution Hub for the elderly and vulnerable local population, and any other individuals who need assistance.
I have a small number of dedicated staff and volunteers who will assist with this.
Our Centres are closed to the public, so what we are offering is an Outreach service only.
So, we are asking all of our groups and customers, to provide contact details of any of your service users who are in need and would benefit from a free food delivery.
If you can provide these contact details we will try to help directly or participate in any initiatives you are already offering.
This is a rapidly developing situation, so
If you have any further questions then please let me know and I will try to give you an update.
To maintain strict confidentiality please do not post publicly contact details due to GDPR please email email@example.com
Ps - we will need to be aware of any food allergies .
Support for vulnerable people who cannot leave their home
The Community Hub from Royal Greenwich is here if you need help because you are vulnerable and self-isolating, and have not got a family member, friend or neighbour who can help. Our volunteers can provide support with collecting and delivering prescriptions, delivering essential food packages and connecting you to local community services.
We are open seven days a week, 8.30am to 6pm. Contact us on:

CLOSURE OF THE CLOCKHOUSE COMMUNITY CENTRE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
In light of recent events regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have taken the difficult decision to close the Clockhouse to the public from close of business this Friday 20 March until further notice. This is in order to enable our user groups and staff to implement the appropriate social-distancing strategies as advised by the Government.
In these difficult circumstances, we recognise that existing bookings cannot be honoured, and our staff will be in contact with you to make the necessary arrangements.
The Clockhouse facilities are now being made available to local and central government to support their efforts in managing the Coronavirus crisis, and our staff are working with relevant groups to see how best we can continue to support our community through these difficult times.
